Festival Info

Jomeokee Music and Arts Festival is set inside a natural amphitheater at the Jomeokee Campgrounds in Pinnacle, NC.  The stunning view of Pilot Mountain creates a picturesque background and features two side-by-side stages showcasing alternating sets of world-class live music.  On one stage, Del McCoury will be curating top notch bluegrass, string and Americana music.    The second stage invites fans to get their groove on for sets featuring collectives of funk, jam and world music.

The Jomeokee Music and Arts Festival is brought to you by the producers of Smilefest and Head Jamz. You’ll find much of what you loved about Smilefest and Head Jamz at the first ever Jomeokee Music & Arts Festival. Over the years, Smilefest has hosted artists such as David Grisman, Derek Trucks, Burning Spear, Michael Franti, Keller & The Keels, Yonder Mountain String Band, Vassar Clements and Leftover Salmon. Combining quality music with earth-conscious outdoor activities, Head Jamz reveled in providing a monster festival experience in an intimate setting. Like Smilefest and Head Jamz, Jomeokee is a family-friendly festival. You’ll find a workshop stage hosting memorable experiences with headlining musicians, late night campfire picking jams featuring all-star collaborations, and of course, a Kids Zone.

Jomeokee is a family festival. The children’s area is full of fun activities for kids to make lasting memories with their parents. The family camping area is designated to ensure a space for little ones to play together and fall asleep away from the crowd. And a family campfire jam, with marshmallows provided, for families to unwind into the  evening while still experiencing the festivities.

Jomeokee Fest features interactive demonstrations hosted by visiting musicians. Get to know the musicians that perform at Jomeokee Fest and the stories behind the music. Want to know more about the banjo and mandolin? Jomeokee Fest will have intimate sessions hosted by your favorite artists.
